She disliked the crossed over position of her teeth, particularly the upper front and lower middle teeth. She wanted her smile fixing for a big wedding coming up!

We first straightened out the smile with Invisalign teeth aligners. The invisalign treatment only took 18 weeks. Watch how Leoni’s teeth moved in the video below.

After the teeth were in the correct position, we whitened the teeth with a two week home kit. Amrita used the last aligner with the home bleaching kit for 14 nights. This brightens the teeth, removing staining.

Once the teeth whitening was complete, the buttons were removed ( these are used to hold the aligners in place) and we placed composite edge bonding on the upper six teeth. Composite bonding was used to correct the uneven edges and the smaller imperfections to complete the smile.

How quickly can I start treatment?
Invisalign Treatment starts with a consultation. I will evaluate your smile and then create a digital treatment plan that shows you see the step-by-step transformation of your smile. This is subject to having good oral health and hygiene and not needing treatment prior to starting. Treatment can be started within one month usually.
How does it work?
Once we are happy with your new teeth position, your unique aligners are 3D printed in USA and shipped to my clinic for you. Depending on how complex your smile is, this will determine how long your treatment will be.You will wear each set of aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, changing to a new set of aligners every 1 to 2 weeks. Each set of aligners will gently and gradually shift your teeth into place, according to your treatment plan, until you reach your beautiful new smile.
Why not metal braces?
Invisalign is near invisible making is extremely discreet, most people will not noticed you are having treatment. Invisalign is removable unlike a fixed braces meaning the teeth can be cleaned and kept optimally healthy. Invisalign uses a digital planning to make your results predictable and allow you to see your result prior to starting, unlike metal braces.
Does it hurt?
Invisalign uses only gentle moves to guide teeth into the ideal position, as such the discomfort is minimal.
Will I need tooth removal?
In almost all cases I treat, no teeth are removed, however if your teeth are severely crowded and there is limited room for movement, tooth removal may be required.
How long will it take for my smile to transform?
Depending on the complexity of your teeth, you could complete your treatment in as little as 6 months. But you'll start seeing results in a matter of weeks.
